Please answer in a separate email or word document. Looking for sincerity, honesty and character. Please answer every question.

  1. How do you think you have done academically and why? On a scale of 1-10, how do rate your academic effort? (list current GPA, any academic honors). Were there any limiting factors that affected your GPA?
  2. What do you plan on doing next year? What university, trade school or career opportunity have you applied for and been accepted to (if any)? What are your plans in the next 5 years? (if you know).
  3. Wrestling is about handling adversity.  Please describe what match(es) or experience(s) in wrestling created the most adversity for you and how you overcame it? We are interested in understanding how wrestling has helped develop you as a person?
  4. Life is about handling adversity. Please describe an event(s) in life that created adversity and how you overcame it or describe an adversity that you are still working to overcome.
  5. Why do you deserve the scholarship?
  6. Please submit 2 letters of recommendation, (or a telephone reference) preferably one from a wrestling coach or certainly someone who has watched you wrestle. A second letter of reference or call may be from a teacher, family member or friend. The recommendations should directly address how you have demonstrated character through handling adversity – either in wrestling or life.

*Let Mrs. Frank know which two letters of recommendation you want to use.

Good luck!
